Opinion and Significance
On it’s website the Good Room notes that it is “a safe space for all people. We do not accept racism, homophobia, or discrimination in any form.” The poster was created by Bráulio Amado, an artist living in NYC who is know for creating dynamic compositions that often include colorful elements and found objects. Amado has designed for an inclusive array of clients and has made work on LGBTQ+ themes, such as clothing that calls for respect of trans people. Occupy the Disco puts on events heavily attended by queer people.
